Role Overview

The company is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to contribute to the deployment and maintenance of a federated, multi-service Data & AI platform. The focus will be on secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure, governance implementation, and enabling advanced data services.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in Terraform for Azure infrastructure as code
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, especially using GitHub Actions
• Experience with Azure Private Link and Private Link Service
• Proficiency in Databricks and Unity Catalog for data governance
• Familiarity with Azure Policy and compliance enforcement
• Solid background in identity and access management, including OAuth and federated credentials
• Deep knowledge of Azure security best practices (eg, Defense in Depth, BCDR, high availability)
• Experience in Azure cost management and optimisation strategies
