Job Description
Data Manager
- Job Type: Full-time circa £40k
- Location: Kingston upon Thames
- Hours: 40 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
We are looking for a dedicated Data Manager to oversee the management and integrity of student and academic data within a dynamic educational environment. This role is essential for facilitating the effective operation of educational processes through meticulous data management and support in examinations and academic reporting.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee daily updates and maintain accurate contact details in educational management systems.
- Coordinate data management for new and departing students during non-standard transition periods.
- Record and update scholarship information and manage related data groups for accessibility by staff.
- Collaborate with academic staff to organize schedules for homework and teaching cover, ensuring equitable distribution and clear communication.
- Support the administration of examinations, including scheduling and logistics, to ensure smooth operation with minimal student conflicts.
- Engage with the Learning Support department to accurately document exam accommodations.
- Prepare and manage detailed examination schedules and oversee invigilation arrangements, adapting for any unforeseen staff absences.
- Handle the setup and administration of academic reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate report generation and distribution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in managing educational data.
- Proficiency with educational data systems, such as iSAMS and My School Portal.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- A strong commitment to upholding data accuracy and educational integrity.
