Role Title: Data Governance Lead

Duration: contract to run until 31/12/2025

Location: Milton Keynes, Hybrid

Rate: up to £550 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Key Skills/ requirements

• Strong and proven experience of data ownership, stewardship, quality, and metadata management.
• Experienced in project & programme management. Skilled in creating/managing project plans, milestones, and delivery timelines tailored to governance and compliance needs.
• Proactive identification and mitigation of delivery risks, especially those related to data quality and compliance.
• Ability to coordinate between data teams, IT, business units, and compliance.
• Ability to produce clear, concise updates for stakeholders and steering committees.
• Experienced in change management. Driving adoption of governance practices and tools across the organisation.
• Experience of using and/or implementing data governance tools e.g. Collibra, Informatica DQ, Alation
• Awareness of FCA, GDPR, and ECB requirements impacting data governance.
• Experience In Financial Services
• An advocate of data literacy. Promoting understanding of data governance principles to non-technical audiences.
