Data Engineer - Apache Kafka & KStreams

Remote or Hybrid (Spain) Languages: Spanish + English

We're hiring a Data Engineer with strong experience in Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams (not KSQL) to join a strategic data migration project for a major client in the banking sector.

You'll work on validating data migrated from Mainframe to Oracle Exadata, with a focus on parallel data processing and system validation ahead of go-live.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams
• Strong understanding of distributed system architectures
• Background in data migration projects is a plus
• Spanish (native) and English (B2+) language proficiency
• Prior experience in banking is desirable but not essential
