Remote - Data Curator/Scientific Curator - Omics - Clinical - Data Models - Data Standards - Ontologies.

My global client has an immediate need for a Data/Scientific Curator on a 6 month rolling basis. In order to be considered for the position you will need to have proven experience of Omics or Clinical Data Curation. In addition you will have an operational understanding of common data models, data standards, vocabularies, ontologies and their implementation within a centralized repository.

Key skills -

• Authoring/Creating/Maintaining Controlled Vocabulary (CV) to support use cases including:
  • Environmental scanning of CV Landscape
  • Data profiling of source systems
  • Mapping source to CV's
  • Cross referencing to ontologies
• Data profiling activities including:
  • Data profiling of source systems
  • Data quality assessment
• Curation activities including:
  • Data harmonization to agreed standards
  • Applying data quality rules to the data
  • Enriching the data with CV's & URI
  • CV and data curation
• Support for the establishment of a data curation community including the creation of guidelines and tooling
