Data Center Security Manager, AWS DC Security

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continual customer access to innovation. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing scalable capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Responsibilities- Provide a safe and secure environment for our people, assets and customer data.
- Physical security of our data center (DC) sites and protecting the integrity of all Red Medias.
- Security access control of our DC sites.
- Responding to security incidents.
- Writing reports on security incidents, system anomalies, and other security-related matters.
- Testing and maintaining security systems, such as alarms, security devices, and cameras.
- Training employees on data center security procedures.
- Identifying and assessing potential security risks to the data center.
- Developing and implementing plans to mitigate security risks.
- Promoting security awareness among employees and visitors.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in security or related fields (e.g., compliance, logistics, transportation, facilities), and 2+ years of commercial or industrial work experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to improve processes and/or customer satisfaction. Ability to be on-call to support out-of-business-hours emergencies remotely and on-site.
- Willingness and ability to work and travel to Data Centers in the Cluster and abroad.
- Experience using CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
- Vendor management experience.
- Experience applying investigation techniques to analyze events.
- Security industry qualifications or certifications.
- English verbal and written communication skills.
