Data Architect - Denmark based - Hybrid - 6+ months

Are you passionate about designing business-aligned data architectures that power analytics, AI, and digital transformation? Our global client is undergoing a major data transformation, and they're looking for a Data Architect to lead the way.
This position is based in Denmark.

Your Role:
As the Data Architect, you'll be responsible for shaping the data foundation across key business domains including Commerce, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance. You'll define conceptual and logical models, guide engineering teams, and ensure data products are trusted, and ready for consumption.
You'll play a pivotal role in enabling self-service analytics, AI innovation, and seamless integration across platforms like ERP, CRM, and planning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design data models and semantic layers that support business operations and analytics.
• Build domain-specific models for commerce, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Define data product interfaces and transformation flows.
• Work with engineering teams to implement models using modern technologies.
• Review architecture plans for system transformations.
• Help shape master data strategies for products, customers, and suppliers.
• Promote data quality and reusable modelling standards.
• Guide teams on best practices and avoid common pitfalls.
• Communicate data concepts clearly to business stakeholders.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or modelling.
• Knowledge of data in commerce, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Experience with lakehouse architectures and semantic modelling.
• Familiarity with Azure tools (Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory).
• Experience with ERP or planning system transformations.
• Ability to create models that support business adoption.
• Understanding of master data and governance frameworks.
• Strong communication skills with technical and business teams.
• Cooperative mindset and a flexible approach to delivery.
