THE ROLE

As a Contract Business Analyst for Data & Integrations within Project Nova, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions, ensuring clarity and precision in our data and integration initiatives. You will elicit, analyze, and document requirements for complex projects aimed at making AllSaints a data-driven, interconnected organization.

This role focuses on expanding BigQuery usage, defining and implementing our BI strategy, deploying an iPaaS platform, and partnering on our MDM strategy. You will ensure accurate capture and translation of business requirements, contributing to solutions that enable AI-driven insights and seamless operations globally.

ABOUT THE PROJECT AND TEAM

You will report to the Global Head of Transformation, working closely with Project Nova leadership, Data and Integration Architects, Product Owners, and workstream leads across Customer, ERP, and Product. Collaboration with business stakeholders (e.g., Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain), IT teams, and external vendors is essential. You will be a key player in driving business transformation through technology.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

1. Requirements Elicitation & Management:

• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements for data and integration projects.
• Translate complex needs into clear user stories, use cases, process flows, and technical specs.
• Prioritize requirements aligned with Project Nova's goals, especially for BigQuery, BI, iPaaS, and MDM strategies.
• Perform gap analysis between current and future data and process states.

2. Process Analysis & Design:

• Map current business processes and data flows, identifying inefficiencies.
• Design optimized future processes leveraging new data and integration capabilities.
• Create detailed documentation like swimlane and data flow diagrams.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:

• Act as liaison between business users, Product Owners, and technical teams.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Support change management with user documentation and training.

4. Testing & Quality Assurance Support:

• Develop test cases with QA teams for data quality and system functionality.
• Coordinate UAT, document defects, and ensure resolution.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

• Extensive experience supporting data and integration projects in retail or similar fast-paced industries.
• Proven ability to manage complex business requirements for data warehousing, analytics, and integration projects.
• Experience with BigQuery, BI tools, iPaaS platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), and MDM initiatives.
• Strong process mapping and business process re-engineering skills, especially for data flows and integrations.
• Knowledge of data modeling, governance principles, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
