Data Analytics Engineer

What we're looking for

Are you driven by curiosity and obsessed with uncovering root causes in data? As a Data Analytics Engineer, you'll be the backbone of our data platform - owning data models, ensuring quality, enabling governance, and building trusted datasets that drive product, growth, and strategic decisions. You'll work across departments to help us scale with insight and precision.

What you'll be doing

• Build and maintain reliable, well-documented DBT models in our Redshift Serverless environment

• Investigate complex issues and find the "why" behind trends, errors, and patterns

• Own the data quality process - from monitoring and alerts to remediation

• Work with growth, product, finance and literally all teams to generate actionable insights

• Contribute to our ingestion and transformation pipelines (basic Python)

• Use command-line Git for version control in a collaborative, review-heavy setup

• Leverage Appsflyer and marketing attribution data to build growth dashboards

• Identify and prototype automations using AI tools in data workflows

• Lay the foundation for data governance, lineage, and documentation

• (Future) Design and prototype ML workflows using cleaned and governed datasets

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in a data analytics engineering role

• Deep fluency in SQL - performance, structure, and readability

• Business acumen and structured problem-solving mindset

• Comfort with the command line and Git workflows

• Experience working with DBT and cloud-based data warehouses (Redshift preferred)

• Exposure to Python scripting for data processing

• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to own end-to-end data pipelines

• Bonus: Experience in growth/product analytics and/or Appsflyer data
