Data Analyst (Temporary) - Liverpool Public Sector

We're looking for a detail-driven Data Analyst to support a key public-sector project in Liverpool. If you enjoy transforming complex information into clear, usable insight, this could be a great fit.

About the Role

• Extract, review, and organise data from an existing internal database
• Design and build a searchable, macro-driven Excel database to consolidate information
• Clean, validate, and structure data for accuracy and consistency
• Identify patterns, gaps, or errors within datasets
• Create dashboards, summaries, or reports to support decision-making
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Present information in a user-friendly, secure, and accessible format
• Receive full instructional training on internal systems and processes

About You

• Strong Excel skills, including use of macros
• Excellent attention to detail and data-quality awareness
• Ability to work independently once trained
• Comfortable organising and presenting information clearly
