Job Description

Level 4 Data Analyst Apprentice - Business Intelligence

Fixed Term - 18 months

Full-time

Location: Hybrid home and office working with regular attendance in Shire Hall (Warwick)

Would you like to join us as a Data Analyst Apprentice in a high performing Business Intelligence team at Warwickshire County Council? You will be working flexibly from both the office and from home, providing analytical support to a range of council services areas with a focus on supporting HR Workforce Services. Business Intelligence have an excellent track record of supporting apprentices through to permanent employment and continuing their career as a qualified Data Analyst.

You will be part of the Warwickshire County Council Apprentice Academy where you will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn with other Warwickshire County Council apprentices, by engaging in scheduled development days and being part of our supportive apprentice network.

About the Team and the Role

The Business Intelligence team provides a critical function to the council, ensuring that services can make evidence-based decisions, can understand what they are doing well and where they can do better. As a team we are working to support the Council in its aim to make Warwickshire the best it can be for everyone.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Data Analyst Apprentice to join our team, helping to deliver specific areas of the business intelligence work programme through the analysis and interpretation of both contextual and service data. The role is fundamental to ensuring that senior management and commissioners have the best intelligence available to them to support decision making and service delivery, allowing the effective targeting of resources within a challenging financial environment.
