Job summaryYou will learn and obtain data experience in different departments, such as: Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service.
Your apprenticeship will last for 24 months during which time you will rotate around different departments, working on projects that support your development and align to your apprenticeship with our training provider, The Development Manager. You will be supported by a dedicated apprentice manager who will oversee your development, apprenticeship progress, and ensure you are working on value add business projects.
You will join an ever growing cohort of apprentices across the business and engineering functions all focused on working towards similar goals. We encourage and empower our apprentices to strive for achievement with many of them having won awards at nationally recognised events for Sustainability, Contact Centre contributions, and recognition awards through their training providers.
Specific responsibilitiesIn order to develop relevant and transferable skills, you will be enrolled onto a Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship, which will support you as you grow in your role. This part time study will provide you with the opportunity to apply your learning to real life business projects.
The placements you complete will give you a broad view of the business and help identify your strengths, with the support of a designated placement mentor.
Supply Chain - A large and important function covering the inbound supply of components all the way through to delivery of finished products to customers. You will experience areas such as Purchasing, Material Control, Continuous Improvement, Logistics and Warehousing.
Marketing - In the marketing rotation you will be part of a high performing team that manages all aspects of the marketing mix for a market leading brand. You could support one of the many digital projects across the business, learning how we use data to understand customer behaviours, use insights from data to create new products and expand into new markets, and how we maximise the sales and profitability of our products.
Customer Service - In Mira Service you will gain insight into the true voice of end customers. You will support projects in new service introductions, resource optimisation for Service Engineers and Contact Centre teams, and analysis on product failures and customer issues, working with the Continuous Product Development team to drive reliability improvements.
Throughout each of the placements you will have the opportunity to be involved in:
- The gathering and cleaning of data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality
- Interpretation of results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple aggregation to complex statistical analysis
- Identification of data quality issues and proposal of data cleansing and enhancement solutions
- Interpretation of results using different analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, correlations and anomalies, and extract meaningful insights
- Identification of KPIs and development of metrics to track and measure business performance
- Development and maintenance of visualisations and dashboard reports to communicate insights
- Following organisational data governance policies on data access, sharing and protection
- Application of fundamental principles of data ethics and privacy under supervision

As an apprentice you will also:

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (A -C or 9-4) including English and Maths
- Successful completion of a Level 3 qualification (e.g. A-level, BTEC) with grades or predicted grades equating to 96 UCAS points or above (typically 3 C's at A-level)
- Interest in business, economics, maths, technology, sustainability or supporting people
- Strong desire to learn and develop, using open thinking and easily adapting to new ways of working
- Demonstrated involvement in extra curricular activities such as hobbies, voluntary work, previous work experience or personal/class based business initiatives (e.g. STEAM, Young Enterprise)
- Good IT skills - working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to pick up new software
- Ideally a strong work ethic, e.g. through part time employment or voluntary activities
- Show initiative in different situations
- Becurious, experiment and innovate
- Be a team player
- Take responsibility and be accountable for actions and decisions
- Show ability to prioritise effectively
- Show ability to listen well and work to improve the customer experience
- Starting salary of £17k, reviewed annually

If your application is successful, the next step will be to attend a mandatory assessment centre in March 2026. Please ensure you are available to attend before submitting your application. If successful at the assessment centre, final stage applicants may be taken through to a formal interview.
We continually review the quality of our training providers to ensure that our apprentices are receiving the highest standard of training and reserve the right to change provider or the apprenticeship if required to fulfil our obligation. You will always be enrolled on a relevant course. Kohler Mira adheres to the apprenticeship standards framework, and the programme may be subject to national level changes.
