Job Description

Required:
  • Demonstrable experience in the development of reports and Power BI dashboards to a diverse set of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly skilled in mainstream BI tools (including but not limited to Power BI)
  • Understand and promote data quality
  • Has knowledge or experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL)
  • Has knowledge with Azure integration services
  • Demonstrate experience in presenting analysis and clear conclusions to management following analysis of large datasets.
  • An understanding of the construction or transport industries
  • An understanding of the procurement processes within a large organisation, preferably a UK construction company.

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Data Analyst to support our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming data into actionable insights that enhance procurement performance, supplier management, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation. Working closely with supply chain, procurement, commercial, and project teams, you will help drive data-led decision-making across complex, high-value projects.
Requirements:
  • Monitor and audit data quality.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content.
  • Gather, understand and document detailed requirements and interface contracts using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets within the Procurement and Supply Chain function.
  • Educate and support business users with their reporting needs.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
  • Create and manage Power BI dashboards, graphs and visualizations.
  • Provide sector and competitor benchmarking.
  • Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
  • Lead and be responsible for analysing and interpreting data for the Procurement and SupplyChain function.
