Daily Nanny/Housekeeper, Balham, London

Job Overview

Experienced, caring and proactive nanny needed for a family in Balham, London. Work hours are 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, starting from early September (date flexible). Salary is £22 £24 per hour (£45,760 £49,920 annually). The role is permanent and offers holiday entitlement of 35-40 days.

Responsibilities

• Collect both children (aged 2 and 4 ) from nursery and primary school each afternoon (distance
• Prepare healthy, nutritious dinners and support homework, reading and learning.
• Plan engaging, age appropriate activities; encourage good manners, independence and positive behaviour.
• Manage the evening routine, including bath time, bedtime and small household tasks such as laundry, ironing, changing bed linen and tidying the children's bedrooms and play areas.
• Assist with grocery shopping, household errands, batch cooking and preparing healthy family meals.
• Occasional babysitting when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of childcare experience.
• Current eDBS certificate and 12 hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Strong organisational and proactive skills with independent initiative.
• Experience in maintaining a calm, nurturing and structured environment after school.
• Excellent communication skills - open, respectful and professional.
