Job Description
The Role

We are looking for a Cycle Hire Hub Assistant to work across our Cycle Hire hubs in Ashbourne and Parsley Hay.

The role will

  • Process bike hire bookings, repairs, services, sales and customer queries efficiently.
  • Help the team reach income targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain all aspects of hiring cycles and equipment including maintenance, cleaning, safety checks, bookings (inc web bookings), service history and collection of cycles inline with operational procedures.
  • Support Welcome Volunteers in promoting national park messages and meeting fundraising objectives.

  • Good communication skills, a welcoming attitude and a love of interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Able to work flexibly and adapt to different demands in a busy environment.
  • Able to remain accurate and pay attention to detail when processing information.
  • Able to show initiative to provide solutions to problems.

Working hours

This post is an annualised hours post working 1,127 hours per year worked from late Feb to early Nov. Equivalent to 31 hours per week (0.58 full-time equivalent).
