As a Cybersecurity Awareness and Education Manager you will contribute to the delivery of the cybersecurity culture and awareness service at Deloitte, coordinating with the Global Cyber Culture network (130+ individuals across 12 member firms). Your efforts will ensure that all employees worldwide are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to cybersecurity threats effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategy implementation: Develop communication plans and engagement materials to promote a cybersecurity-aware culture.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content, such as e-learning modules, newsletters, webinars, and interactive training sessions, that facilitate effective learning and retention for our internal audience.
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, integrating relevant information into educational programs to maintain cutting-edge relevance.
  • Targeted education: Tailor training and awareness materials to target high-risk audience groups, including other technology and cybersecurity professionals with cyber awareness and knowledge.
  • Project Management: lead and drive successful completion of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and Legal, to ensure cohesive program delivery and integration into broader organizational objectives.
  • Human Risk Management: Identify and analyze cybersecurity risks and develop strategies to address the human risk side of them.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure education and training requirements for our people are met to comply with various local and international cybersecurity standards
  • Measurement & Reporting: Establish metrics for assessing the effectiveness and impact of cybersecurity education initiatives, providing regular reports to senior leadership to inform decision-making and strategy refinement.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • Experience in cybersecurity education, awareness, or a related field
  • Experience in global internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field
  • Superior writing and editing skills, with a proven track record across a variety of audience groups and channels.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.
  • Certification with SANs Security Awareness are highly desirable
  • Proven track record in managing global education programs and driving organizational change.
  • Ability to tell a clear and compelling story through PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and geographically dispersed team environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing technical or cybersecurity educational experiences (e.g., micro-trainings, compliance training, quizzes, games, role-based training)
