Maersk Customs Services delivers end-to-end customs visibility around the world. The Customs Process Administrator (CPA) works within a team to coordinate the full range of customs services, from order acceptance through clearance and release of goods.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and organize the full range of customs services, starting with order acceptance and ending with release of goods and customs clearance.
- Perform customs clearances including certificates, solving and offering solutions to incidents.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all financial activities relevant to Customs House Brokerage.
- Collate and present data reports to management, customers, internal stakeholders, compliance, and implementation teams.
- Ensure all local customs authorities/statutory requirements are met or exceeded.
- Maintain first-class business relationships with all customers and internal stakeholders.
- Be an active team member who exchanges knowledge and expertise.
- Proactively lead or participate in customs-related projects.
- Ensure training is completed to cover all accounts in the team.
- Engender team spirit and staff engagement.
- Weekend work may be required from time-to-time to support customs operations, and shift pattern may be required depending on business needs.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant customs experience/certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local customs authorities is an asset.
- Experience with relevant customs software is a plus.
- Outlook and Microsoft applications user-level experience.
- Customer-facing skills with high-level customer orientation.
- Team engagement and support.
