We're looking for an experienced Customs Clearance Clerk to support end-to-end clearance activity, working a rolling rota across days and nights.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and check Customs and supporting documentation to ensure compliant, on-time clearance
• Ensure all entries are completed accurately in Customs software and internal systems
• Provide responsive support to internal teams, customers and authorities, resolving queries efficiently
• Work closely with hauliers, suppliers and external stakeholders to keep freight moving
• Monitor live shipment activity and take ownership of exceptions to minimise disruption
• Maintain strong knowledge of current Customs procedures and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver a seamless end-to-end clearance process

Required experience & skills

• Proven experience in a Customs Clearance/Customs Admin role (import/export)
• Strong understanding of customs processes and compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with documentation and systems
• Clear communicator with a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
• Able to work a rolling rota including 12-hour day/night shifts
