As a Customer Support Sales Engineer, you will:
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Support clients by sizing and selecting appropriate items.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations tailored to customer needs.
- Prepare accurate quotations and project documentation.
- Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up.
- Assist the external sales team with technical input and project coordination.
- Use CRM systems and internal tools to manage enquiries, quotations, and project pipelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical aptitude.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications or drawings.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and take part in ongoing training.
- Own transport essential due to rural location (no public transport access).
- Salary: Starting salary from £24,500 DOE
- Work-Life Balance: Option to work contracted hours over 4 days (subject to workload)
- Holiday: 30 days including statutory, rising to 33 after 1 year
- Bonus: Annual business performance bonus (non-contractual)
- Pension: Auto-enrolment with enhanced employer contribution after 3 years
