Customer Success Manager

Iron Mountain is seeking a proactive and strategic Customer Success Manager (CSM) with a strong background in public sector client management to join our Customer Success team in Ireland. In this role, you will build and maintain deep, trusting relationships with key decision makers across Irish public sector bodies, government departments, and commercial accounts, ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes while driving account retention, compliance, and growth.
Responsibilities- Build deep, trusting relationships with key stakeholders across Irish government departments, local authorities, and public bodies, monitor CSAT and NPS, and implement proactive retention strategies.
- Partner with sales teams to co create account plans, conduct QBR/FBR, and identify cross sell and upsell opportunities across RIM, DBU, and ALM.
- Lead public sector renewal strategies, contribute to public tenders and RFP responses, negotiate pricing and SLAs, and communicate annual price increases by demonstrating value and ESG strategy.
- Act as an internal advocate, collaborating with CoE and other departments to resolve complex customer issues quickly and ensure seamless billing, invoicing, and operations.
- Maintain strict compliance with Irish and EU public procurement regulations, statutory laws, GDPR, and internal policies; stay informed of emerging industry trends.
- Several years of experience in customer success, account management, or a similar high impact, customer facing role, preferably managing Irish public sector accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Irish public sector procurement processes, national frameworks, tender procedures, and compliance frameworks; familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and business intelligence tools.
- Strategic and financial acumen: ability to leverage data to identify growth opportunities, negotiate contracts, manage profitability, and articulate value propositions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management: interpersonal and communication skills to influence public sector decision makers and navigate complex organisational environments.
- Agility and problem solving: strategic thinking, organisational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
