Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Customer Service Representative - permanent to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

To process related transactions to ensure customer orders, communications and requirements are managed in an efficient way.

To liaise with operational areas of our business to aid in the processing and management of our customers and suppliers specific requirements.

To support the Team Leader/Client Services Manager in ensuring a first class customer service level is achieved at all times.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Ensure that collaborative, positive and productive relationships are maintained within the department and with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed as required and in a timely way. Complete allocated administration tasks accurately and on time following agreed procedures and processes.
  • Complete customer and supplier systems with accurate and timely information.
  • Input accurate information into company ERP system AX .
  • Actively report EHS issues and near misses.
  • Support and promote '5S' activities within the office.
  • Define and produce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support business continuity.
  • Participate and contribute to SDT meetings.
Skills / Experience Personal

Be an active and supportive member of the Customer Service Team. Support new team members through initial training where requested. Maintain high levels of accuracy and timeliness in your work.

Previous Experience
  • Previous experience of working in a Customer Service Team - essential.
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing experience, ideally yellow Belt, or above - desirable.
  • Experience with Exporting regulations and documentation - desirable.
  • Previous use of Lean Processes - desirable.
Personal Attributes
  • Resilient and ability to work in a high pressure work environment - essential.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse group of people - essential.
  • Highly motivated with a focus on solutions and continuous improvements - essential.
Qualifications

GCSE level Maths and English or equivalent - essential.

IT skills - excel and word programs - essential.
