Job Title: Lifeguard Job Type: Permanent Salary: £12.71 per hour

Responsibilities

As a Lifeguard you are calm and confident, potentially you could save a life, and you will help keep people safe. You will need to feel comfortable being in control of the pool and challenging inappropriate behaviour. You'll provide safe supervision of customers in poolside locations and be responsible for preventing serious injuries or accidents. You can perform a rescue, deliver first aid, and have difficult conversations with customers who are not acting safely.

Key Requirements

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualified or ability to pass the course;
• Ability to stay calm under pressure;
• Strong communication and customer service skills;
• Willingness to progress to swimming teacher, duty manager or trainer roles (if applicable)
