We're looking for enthusiastic people who want to make a difference by helping our communities and customers when they need us most. As part of a multi-skilled team, you will cover different and diverse tasks in a fast-paced and active environment.

You'll support the daily running of the store, working on: checkouts, the shop floor, housekeeping, date code checking, temperature checks, administration, or even the in-store bakery. You'll promote the benefits of membership to customers, helping people to join us and have a say in how we are run. Each day offers new experiences and chances to impact and improve the lives of those around you.

Responsibilities
  • Support the daily running of the store and assist with checkouts, the shop floor, housekeeping, date code checking, temperature checks, administration, and in-store bakery operations as needed.
  • Promote the benefits of membership to customers and assist with joining the Society.
  • Contribute to delivering exceptional service and a positive store environment.
  • Collaborate with the in-store team to meet customer needs and store goals.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred, including till operations, stock replenishment, and customer service.
  • Prior experience in this vacancy is required to support the team in a relatively new store environment; future roles may not require the same level of prior experience.
  • Flexible working hours, including availability on evenings and weekends, with a variety of shifts.
  • Willingness to learn, a warm and friendly character, and the ability to engage with customers and contribute to community spirit.
  • Desire to develop skills and take opportunities for progression through training and coaching.
