Customer Service Adviser - Poole - £30,000

We're working with a leading specialist engineering business looking to recruit a Customer Service Adviser to join their small and friendly team.

This is a varied, office-based role combining customer service, order processing, invoicing, and general administration. You'll be an important point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and ensuring orders and queries are dealt with accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the customer service inbox, processing orders, quotes and customer queries
• Handle incoming calls and provide a high standard of customer service
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve issues promptly
• Process invoices, credit notes and daily EDI invoice uploads
• Assist with credit control during quieter periods
• Support the wider team with general administration and other tasks as required

Requirements:

• Previous customer service or administration experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident working with numbers, invoices and financial information
• Versatile and happy to get involved across different areas of a small team
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
