Customer Representative - Darlington

Role Overview

At Nationwide, a Customer Representative role is about providing first class service to customers across all channels - in person, by phone, and online. You will handle transactions on the till, manage inbound calls, support product applications through digital sales, and educate customers on our digital services. The role is a permanent, full time (35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) position based in Darlington, County Durham, and you'll be trained virtually in branch.

If the position is advertised as part time, the salary will be pro rated. You need to be able to commute to the branch within 45 minutes; otherwise, please consider our other vacancies closer to you.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions on the till and during allocated time.
• Manage inbound calls from customers via phone and online channels.
• Support product applications through digital sales.
• Educate customers on digital services and provide first class service in person.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to answer customer queries promptly.
