ROLE CONTEXTReady to lead growth across one of Unilever Ireland's most important categories? As Customer Business Manager for Homecare Ireland, you will lead a dynamic and strategically important business across multiple customers and channels, driving growth for some of Ireland's most trusted brands. You will work closely with customers, Category, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to unlock opportunities that delight shoppers, strengthen customer partnerships and deliver exceptional commercial results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the development and delivery of Unilever Ireland's Home Care customer strategy, identifying growth opportunities across key retail and wholesale customers to deliver sustainable, profitable growth
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customer buying teams and key stakeholders, creating joint value opportunities that strengthen long-term partnerships
- Lead commercial negotiations, including annual business planning, promotional investment, pricing, trade terms and customer funding agreements, ensuring delivery against business objectives
- Own and deliver the Home Care customer business plan, translating category and channel strategies into clear, actionable plans that accelerate Buy, Move, Grow delivery
- Develop category-winning promotional and activation plans, leveraging shopper, category and customer insights to drive sales growth, market share and category value
- Bring innovation to life by securing customer support for new product launches, distribution opportunities and category development initiatives across the Home Care portfolio
- Drive outstanding in-store and omnichannel execution, working closely with Retail Media, Category Management and Marketing teams to maximise visibility, availability and shopper conversion
- Take ownership of Home Care P&L performance for total Ireland, balancing growth, profitability and investment to deliver strong commercial outcomes
- Partner with Brand and CSP to land Unilever Ireland's Homecare ambition across the retail landscape
- Coach and develop key talent within the wider CD team
- Lead forecasting and performance management, partnering cross-functionally with Customer Operations, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure delivery against forecast and identify risks and opportunities
- Champion category growth by understanding market trends, shopper behaviour and emerging channel dynamics, translating insights into clear commercial actions
- Provide strong commercial rigour and control, ensuring pricing execution, accrual management and investment governance are delivered accurately and effectively
- Contribute to the wider Home Care leadership agenda, supporting capability building, best-practice sharing and cross-functional collaboration across the Ireland business.
A commercially driven individual with strong Customer Development experience across selling, negotiation and P&L management Experience working across key Irish retail customers: Dunnes Stores, Tesco, MRPI Proven ability to build and develop customer relationships that create value for both Unilever and its customers Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex category and customer plans A strategic thinker who can balance long-term growth opportunities with day-to-day delivery and execution excellence Someone who demonstrates Grip and Drive, taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced environment Energised by customer relationships and passionate about creating win-win solutions Curious about evolving shopper behaviour, category trends and the future of retail A collaborative team player who influences effectively across functions and stakeholders Resilient, adaptable and excited by the pace and opportunity that comes with leading a high-profile Home Care business
