Permanent, Full-Time (37 Hours per Week) £25,983.50 Starting Salary + Progression + Excellent Benefits

Apple Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Customer Advisor on behalf of a highly respected organisation in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service professional to join a supportive and dynamic team in a role that offers genuine career progression, ongoing training and excellent employee benefits.

As a Customer Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a professional, responsive and customer-focused service across phone, email and digital channels. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll play a key part in supporting customers, coordinating service requests and ensuring a high standard of customer care.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8.30am - 5.00pm
  • Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • One late shift per week (Monday to Thursday) finishing at 7.00pm
  • Late shift can be taken as a later start or paid as overtime
  • No weekend working

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing a variety of customer enquiries, service requests and administrative tasks.
Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you will ensure customer information is accurately recorded, appointments are coordinated efficiently and all interactions are handled in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, emails and service requests.
  • Deliver a professional and inclusive customer experience to all customers.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations and urgent requests.
  • Manage customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution or escalation whererequired.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate work activities with customers andoperational teams.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update information across multiplesystems.
  • Process and manage large volumes of customer information and documentation.
  • Support project communications and service delivery activities.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and company procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support and contribute to team objectives.

What We're Looking For

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grade C/4 orabove.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong IT and data entry skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.

Experience
Either:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a high-volume contact centre environment

OR

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within a busy retail, customer service or customer-facing environment involving high levels of customer interaction.

Plus:

  • At least 2 years' administrative experience, including call handling and maintaining customer records.

Desirable

  • Experience scheduling appointments using diary management systems.
  • Experience maintaining and updating large volumes of customer data.
  • Experience handling and resolving customer complaints.

  • Starting Salary: £25,983.50
  • Increase to £26,483 after successful completion of 6 months
  • Increase to £26,983 after 12 months
  • Annual salary reviews every April
