Overview

Logistics / Customer Advisor - Chelmsford / Wickford location. Car driver required due to location; free on site parking. Salary 27185 - 28115 plus quarterly bonus. Monday to Friday, office-based full time.

This company owns eight depots across the country; the vacancy is within their modern, newly renovated offices between Wickford and Chelmsford. They are looking for someone with excellent telephone skills to be part of a team delivering the hire experience and to grow and nurture relationships with existing clients. You will update and assist customers after the initial sales process in a buzzy logistics department. Your role will be to improve and develop customer service capabilities for the service and operations team. You will work within a team with the support of a team supervisor and a Customer Service Manager.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, and web queries
  • Provide ETAs
  • Work closely with the transport planners
  • Resolve customer issues
  • Answer all incoming service calls (from customers, not drivers)
  • Respond to all customer emails
  • Manage and resolve all queries on the service log
Requirements
  • Experience in logistics, helpdesk, or office-based telephone-based customer service
  • Car driver is essential due to rural location
  • Free on-site parking
