Who You Will Work With

Our client is a global financial services firm that manages wealth, navigates complex markets, and designs strategic financial objectives. The firm provides risk management solutions across a variety of sectors, emphasizing long-term relationships, and innovative approaches to financial challenges.

What you'll do:

• Support Equity Division trading desk audits as a Cryptocurrency Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Guide audit scope and test plans for trading desks market-making in derivatives tied to Cryptocurrency ETFs and Futures.
• Define and support alternative testing techniques for this area.
• Test controls and identify gaps, raising observations on any control framework discrepancies during audit reporting.

What you bring:

• Relevant degree and professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIA)
• Experience auditing sales and trading desks, especially derivatives desks linked to Cryptocurrency assets.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit processes, methodologies, and best practices; ability to assess and execute improvements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with senior management and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with audit methodology/practices is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word), including pivot tables.
• Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines and work professionally across management levels.
