Sophisticated frauds, involving grooming of targeted individuals, show the fake recruiter asking the unsuspecting job seeker to take part in a fake job interview, either over the phone or via WhatsApp, and also sending fraudulent follow-up correspondence offering job positions.

Job overview

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy for a full-time Credit Controller for the Private Patient Services based at the Unipart Building at Cowley. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to develop your finance career within the private patient field and within an NHS organisation.

The Private Patient Finance team is based at Unipart House in Cowley. The work pattern involves 3 days per week in the office at Unipart and other trust sites, with an option to work 2 days from home.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will lead and manage the team responsible for debt and cash collection. They will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the financial integrity of the Commercial Directorate by ensuring the efficient collection of debts and managing outstanding accounts.

You will work closely with self-paying private patients, insurers, other debt agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure income is received in a timely manner and all financial transactions are processed accurately in line with NHS financial policies.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, knowledgeable about private practice business, attentive to detail with a focus on accuracy, and able to work efficiently.
