The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Creative Lead to lead our in-house Brand Creative team. This role will define and elevate our brand and marketing visual identity, ensuring consistency, innovation, and strategic impact across all platforms.

You will be a hands-on leader and an exceptional designer, inspiring a talented team to produce outstanding work that resonates with our audiences. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will help shape and grow beloved kids' brands, working on marketing campaigns, brand identities, game and app launches, music releases, and more. The ideal candidate has broad creative experience in both print and digital media.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Develop and champion the creative vision and strategy for all brand and marketing design initiatives.
  • Maintain high creative standards, ensuring all output is on-brand, visually compelling, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Lead specific campaigns, ensuring creative excellence and impact.
  • Translate business objectives into creative solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and marketing.
  • Define design systems, principles, and support long-term brand evolution.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage workload, resources, and ensure timely, within-budget project delivery.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support career growth.
  • Promote a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Hands-on Design & Execution

  • Act as lead designer on key projects, demonstrating exceptional skills.
  • Oversee end-to-end design processes from concept to delivery.
  • Involved in major campaigns, brand guidelines, and asset creation.
  • Present concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.

Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing and internal teams to deliver impactful designs.
  • Manage external agencies and freelancers, ensuring quality.
  • Communicate design concepts clearly to non-design stakeholders.
  • Approve third-party and partner designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • 8+ years of design experience, with at least 2+ years in leadership within an in-house team or agency.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects and impactful solutions.
  • Experience in developing visual identities and logos.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma/Sketch).
  • Understanding of branding, marketing, and user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and team motivation abilities.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with motion & video art direction, storyboarding, or scriptwriting.
  • Familiarity with project tools like Monday, Frame.io, Lucid Link.
  • Experience in entertainment or kids' brands.
  • Knowledge of web design and UX/UI best practices.
  • Interest in AI.
