The RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Creative Lead to head our in-house Brand Creative team. This key role involves defining and elevating our brand's visual identity and marketing efforts, ensuring consistency, innovation, and strategic impact across all platforms.
You will be a hands-on leader and an exceptional designer, inspiring and guiding a talented team to produce outstanding work that resonates with our audiences. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will help shape and grow beloved kids' brands. You will work on marketing campaigns, brand identities, game and app launches, music releases, and more. The role requires broad creative experience in both print and digital media.
Responsibilities Strategy- Develop and champion the overall creative vision and strategy for all brand and marketing design initiatives.
- Maintain high creative standards, ensuring all output is on-brand, visually appealing, and aligned with strategic goals.
- Lead specific campaigns to ensure creative excellence and impact.
- Translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and marketing.
- Define design systems, principles, and support long-term brand evolution.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented designers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Manage workload, allocate resources, and ensure timely, within-budget project delivery.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career growth.
- Promote a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead design on key projects, demonstrating exceptional skills and craftsmanship.
- Oversee the entire design process from concept to delivery.
- Directly contribute to major marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop and refine brand guidelines for consistent application across channels.
- Present concepts and strategies to stakeholders, incorporating feedback.
- Create comprehensive brand assets.
- Work closely with Marketing and other teams to understand needs and deliver impactful design solutions.
- Manage external agencies and freelancers, ensuring quality output.
- Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to non-design stakeholders.
- Approve third-party and partner designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive design experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role within an in-house or agency creative team.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse projects and impactful creative solutions.
- Experience developing visual identities and logos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma/Sketch.
- Understanding of branding, marketing strategies, and user-centered design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership, mentorship, and team motivation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with motion and video art direction, storyboarding, or scriptwriting.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday, Frame.io, Lucid Link).
- Experience in the entertainment industry or with kids' brands.
- Knowledge of web design principles and UX/UI.
- Interest in AI.
