Cover Supervisor/Supply Cover Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a resilient and engaging Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic secondary school in the Lancaster area. This is a full-time, long-term position (Monday to Friday) perfect for those looking to build their experience in secondary education or career changers seeking a new challenge.

As a Cover Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to oversee classes across various subjects during the short-term absence of permanent teachers. You won't be expected to teach the curriculum from scratch; instead, you will:

• Deliver pre-set work left by the department to ensure learning continues.

• Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a focused and safe environment.

• Support pupils with their tasks and answer any general queries.

• Ensure the school's behavior policy is followed consistently.

• Pay: Competitive rates from £105 - £160 per day (based on experience and scale).

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (approx. 8:30 am - 3:30 pm).

• Setting: A well-regarded secondary school in Lancaster with a supportive staff body and excellent facilities.
