We are currently recruiting confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Caerphilly and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain engaged and on task

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Support students with their learning where required

• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and behaviour

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience

• Previous experience in a classroom, tutoring, or training environment

• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain positive classroom discipline

• Confidence delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects

• The ability to motivate and engage young people

• A proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach
