Cover Supervisor

GSL Education are recruiting confident Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Selby.

About the School

Schools in the Selby area provide supportive environments where Cover Supervisors play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absence. Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons.

Responsibilities

Supervise classes during teacher absence

Maintain positive classroom behaviour

Ensure pupils remain on task with learning activities

Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress

Requirements

Degree or relevant education experience

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

Confidence managing a classroom environment

Interest in education or teaching
