FBC Manby Bowdler are looking to expand our Court of Protection & Deputyship Team with the appointment of a Solicitor or Associate (2-4 years' PQE), based in our Wolverhampton office.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded and supportive team, working closely alongside our lead Partner. You will play a key role in managing a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters, supporting clients with sensitivity, professionalism, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of Court of Protection matters, including Deputyship Applications and ongoing Deputyship administration
• LPA administration
• Management and setting up of Personal Injury Trusts
• Supporting vulnerable clients and their families with empathy and clarity
• Working collaboratively with the lead Partner and wider Court of Protection team
• Maintaining the high standards of client care for which the firm is known

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2-4 years' PQE
• Experience in Court of Protection work (or strong Court of Protection / Private Client background with a desire to specialise)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A compassionate and client-focused approach
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
