Court of Protection Advisor, West Midlands, 12 months experience in a similar role, £35,000+ (DOE) - We are looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive Court of Protection Advisor to join a growing Private Client team in the West Midlands. REF:4814.
THE ROLE:- This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing complex casework and making a genuine difference to the lives of individuals who are unable to manage their own affairs.
- Working alongside experienced Court of Protection professionals, you will support the administration of deputyship matters, helping to safeguard the financial interests and wellbeing of vulnerable clients while ensuring all work is completed in line with legal and regulatory requirements
- You'll work closely with clients, families, care professionals, financial institutions and other organisations, ensuring matters are handled efficiently, professionally and with empathy.
- Prepare applications, correspondence and legal documentation for submission to the Court of Protection.
- Maintaining regular contact with clients, relatives, care providers and professional contacts.
- Assisting with financial administration, including processing invoices, monitoring client accounts and recording transactions.
- Providing general support to the wider Court of Protection team as required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to a range of people and situations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
