Courier Driver - DHL Express (Bristol)

Position Overview

Courier Driver - Bristol. Hourly pay £15.97 plus advanced holiday pay. Full time, Monday to Friday, 09 30 (1 hour unpaid break). 45 hours per week. Ongoing work with a reputable carrier company based in Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Complete up to deliveries per day to residential addresses.


• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism during deliveries.


• Perform vehicle checks and ensure the van is safe and roadworthy.


• Support operational sorting and organise all shipments in the vehicle prior to departure.


• Deliver shipments to consignees, honouring specific product codes and KPI's.


• Collect shipments from designated local customers once trained.


• Offload collected material at the facility for processing by the operations team.


• Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines and compliance requirements.


• Maintain a clean, tidy vehicle at all times.

Requirements

• A valid UK Category B (car) licence.


• Minimum 1 year of van driving experience.


• No more than 6 SP penalty points (no BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements).


• Ability to provide 5 years of work/education history for security clearance.


• DBS check required (can be provided but may take up to two weeks).


• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.


• Good customer service skills and a safety focused approach.
