You'll play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, guiding teams, and building partnerships that enable them to provide life-changing services in some of the world's most challenging environments.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a mission-driven leader with experience in international development or flight to advance their career within a faith-based organisation committed to transforming lives through practical help, physical healing, and spiritual hope.

The Role

As a Country Director, you will oversee the leadership, strategy and operations of one of our client's country programmes, ensuring it is aligned with their ethos.

Specifically, you will develop and implement a clear ministry impact plan, leading your team to deliver tangible benefits to isolated communities while fostering strong internal and external relationships to advance their goals.

You will also mentor and support staff to enable them to flourish professionally and spiritually, while raising up future leaders.

Additionally, you will:

- Evaluate the impact of services and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and implement capacity-building projects for national flight professionals
- Oversee resource management, budgeting, and planning processes

About You

To be considered as a Country Director, you will need:

- Experience of leading bible study, prayer and other Christian faith-based worship
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an international, cross-cultural context
- Experience managing service delivery and developing strategic partnerships
- Experience with project management, evaluation and learning (PME&L), and strategic planning
- Experience of working in a developing country
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to adapt to challenging environments and lead through change
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- A university degree or equivalent qualification or experience

Please note, you will need to be a current UK passport holder and if successful our client will need to obtain appropriate work permits for the country the position is based.

About Our Client

Our client is a faith-based organisation that delivers practical support and religious awareness across the globe.

Contract: Full-Time, contract of a minimum of four years with the potential for extension

The Benefits

- Housing overseas is provided
- Annual return flight for self (and family, where appropriate)

You will have the chance to lead a committed team in a cross-cultural setting, shaping strategy and ensuring meaningful, lasting impact.

What's more, you will also experience the reward of seeing lives transformed through your leadership, while growing both professionally and spiritually.

As a Christian mission, our client seeks staff who share in the evangelical Christian values and beliefs as described in the mission, purpose, values, and beliefs statements. All staff will be required to actively support and demonstrate the Christian values of the organisation and to take part in organisational activities such as staff devotions, prayer meetings, and fellowship days.
