The Counsellor role deliverstimelysupport to our students via short term counselling sessions and Single Session Therapy.The role involves triaging self-referrals received, delivering Triage Duty responsibilities along with developing and delivering therapeutic groups and psychoeducational workshops to students via in-curriculum sessions, workshops, courseinductionsand talks, along with delivering training sessions to our University Staff on supporting students' mental health.

An excellent opportunity for a counsellor to join a busy and dynamic service, delivering counselling and therapy support to students.

Student Successare seeking to recruittwo experiencedpart-time (0.81FTE & 0.60 FTE)Counsellors to work within ourMental Health & WellbeingTeam. Your role will involvetriagingonline self-referrals fromstudents, delivering Single Session Therapy appointments, short term (up to 6 sessions) ongoing therapy,and providing Supervision to our Volunteer Counsellors. In addition, you will undertake, on a rota basis, Triage Duty Practitioner responsibilities and be involved indelivering groups and workshops tostudentsvia psychoeducational sessions and in-curriculum training sessions, along withdelivering training toUniversitystaff on supporting students' mental health.

Working alongside our Mental Health Advisers, the successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support students and help themto achievetheir academic potential.

We are particularly interested to hear from experienced therapists who can deliver short term CBT or DBTinformedsessions to our student population.
