Cost Engineer - Derby - Defence

Our Major Client in Derby are currently seeking a Cost Engineer to join their ever-growing Commercial team working on prestigious defence Engineering projects.

Remuneration:

£50 000 - £65 000 per annum plus car/car allowance, bonus, travel & benefits

Location:

Hybrid - Home & Derby

The role:

- Create detailed cost plans for all project phases, which will include pre-contract estimates and detailed post-award budgets.
- Monitor the actual costs against budgets and produce earned value reports.
- Produce detailed variance analyses
- Produce and maintain project cash flows
- Work alongside planners to ensure cost and schedule data align.

Requirements:
- SC Clearance required
- NEC Contract experience
- Proficient in Excel and, ideally within dedicated cost management systems
