Corporate Tax Associate / Senior Associate National Law Firm Birmingham

We are working with a highly regarded national law firm with a growing reputation for excellence in corporate tax advisory. They are seeking an ambitious and technically strong Corporate Tax Associate or Senior Associate to join their Birmingham team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value, complex corporate tax matters and gain exposure across a diverse client base.

The Role:

• Advise on a broad range of corporate tax matters, including M&A, restructuring, demergers, share incentive schemes, succession planning, and property tax.
• Support clients across the full lifecycle of their businesses, from start-up to exit.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across corporate, commercial property, employment, and private client matters to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to business development by supporting senior colleagues in identifying opportunities and maintaining client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate, sharing knowledge and best practice.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified tax professional (CTA or equivalent) with 2-5 PQE.
• Experience advising on corporate tax matters, including M&A, restructuring, share incentive schemes, or succession planning.
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and professional advisors.
• Ambition to grow within a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile client work.
