In this senior role, you'll have the scope to influence strategy, lead the development of the tax function and play a key part in the firm's future direction.
As a Corporate Tax Director, you'll be a key leader in shaping and delivering our corporate tax offering. You will oversee the compliance function, lead a talented team and deliver high-quality advisory work that supports the growth of our clients and the firm. You will build strong relationships, influence strategic direction and play a central role in the continued success of our practice.
Your MissionWhat you'll be doing day to day
You will take ownership of the Corporate Tax compliance function, ensuring high standards, smooth delivery and a positive client experience. You will review complex computations and advisory work, oversee junior colleagues and support their professional development. You will lead advisory assignments across corporate restructuring, tax clearances, share schemes, transfer pricing, CIR calculations, PAYE reviews, due diligence and R&D. You will contribute to the strategic development of the tax department and the wider firm, using commercial awareness to manage assignments effectively and help drive growth. Strong client communication and relationship management will be second nature, alongside supporting team success.
Who You'll Work WithThe people you'll collaborate with
You will work closely with Directors, clients and colleagues across Fiander ETL. You will collaborate with the Corporate (audit) team, the personal tax team and other departments as required. You will also liaise with external professionals, introducers, networks and HMRC, building strong connections that support client success and your own professional development.
What You'll BringSkills and experience we're looking for
You will bring deep technical expertise in Corporate Tax and proven leadership experience. You will be confident managing people, delivering advisory work and overseeing compliance processes. You will communicate clearly and effectively, demonstrate commercial awareness and act with professionalism and integrity.
The EssentialsWhat would be required for the role
You will be CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, practice-trained and have recent experience at Senior Manager level or above. You will have a minimum of five years' post-qualification managerial experience, including managing your own client portfolio, with a track record in advisory-focused Corporate Tax work, tax planning assignments and compliance.
