Corporate Solicitor (3+PQE) Newcastle upon Tyne A leading North East commercial law firm is seeking to appoint two experienced Corporate Solicitors (3+ years' PQE) to join its award-winning corporate team. The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the region's most active and respected corporate practices. The team was ranked most active deal adviser in the region.Over the past 12 months alone, the team has advised on more than 60 transactions, with an aggregate deal value exceeding £350 million. You will work on a broad range of corporate transactions for an enviable client base spanning sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, telecoms, technology and hospitality. The Role Successful candidates will:

• Manage their own caseload of corporate and company law advisory matters.
• Act for a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses, public companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and banks.
• Support partners and senior lawyers on larger and more complex transactional matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate transactional, finance and corporate governance documentation.
• Develop and nurture client and referrer relationships.
• Contribute to wider business development initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional levels of client service.
• Supervise and support the development of junior team members.

About You The firm is keen to hear from solicitors who:

• Have 3+ years' PQE with strong experience in corporate finance law and practice (gained in private practice or in-house).
• Are confident managing matters independently while contributing effectively to larger team projects.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Are commercially minded and motivated to build long-term client relationships.
