Job Description

If you're currently working in Corporate Finance and looking to take the next step in your career, this is an opportunity to join a highly regarded advisory team supporting a varied portfolio of clients through acquisitions, disposals and other strategic transactions.

Working alongside experienced Corporate Finance professionals, you'll play a key role throughout the deal lifecycle, supporting businesses on acquisitions, mergers and company sales. The team advises on transactions of significant value, giving you exposure to complex deals while allowing you to develop your commercial and advisory skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in Corporate Finance within a collaborative team that offers excellent progression and client exposure.

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Supporting lead advisers throughout buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
  • Preparing high-quality client presentations, transaction documentation and marketing materials.
  • Undertaking detailed market and acquisition research to identify suitable targets and strategic buyers.
  • Carrying out financial and commercial analysis to support transaction activity.
  • Assisting with valuations, financial modelling and deal execution.
  • Liaising with clients, legal advisers, funders and other professional stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
  • Building working relationships with entrepreneurial businesses across a range of sectors.

Who you are:

  • Previous Corporate Finance experience gained within an accountancy practice or specialist advisory firm.
  • Experience preparing Investment Memorandums.
  • Experience researching acquisition opportunities and identifying potential buyers or targets.
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), ideally across both acquisitions and disposals.
  • Excellent financial analysis and report writing skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
