The employer is a well-established, mid-sized construction business based in Marlborough, MA.

Job Description

Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer, the Manager of Corporate Development's main duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Lead and execute corporate development strategies to achieve organizational growth objectives.
  • Analyze financial data to identify potential opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial models and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors and business partners.
  • Oversee due diligence processes and manage integration plans for acquisitions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on corporate development activities to senior leadership.

This role requires at least 3 days/week in-office.

The Successful Applicant

In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful Corporate Development Manager will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years relevant experience in either investment banking, private equity or previous in-house corporate development experience
  • Solid understanding of financial modeling and analysis
  • Proven ability to identify and evaluate growth opportunities within the construction industry
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  • Experience in managing mergers, acquisitions, and investment processes
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to drive strategic initiatives
