Minor Hotels is a global hospitality group operating over 540 hotels, resorts and residences in 56 countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe and the Americas.

As part of Minor Hotels, the region of Minor Europe and the Americas is responsible for more than 350 properties in 30 countries and plans to grow across all segments, with a focus on its upper-upscale and luxury brands.


JOB SUMMARY


This position is in Europe & Americas region reporting to the VP of PR and Communications but with a lot of interaction with PR heads in the business units and with the global PR agencies.

This person will be responsible for Corporate PR including events, press releases etc public affairs including preparation of speaking opportunities, CEO and top management interviews, attend main events etc Always ensuring consistent high standards.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Corporate communication: communicate all corporate milestones (financial results, acquisitions, new hotels signature, partnerships .)

  1. In charge of preparation, review and global coordination of corporate Press Releases (financial results, sale of assets, signature of new properties, new agreements or partnerships, financial operations )
  2. Preparation of speeches and speaking points for public participation of the Management Committee in conferences, hotel opening events, forums, press conferences, collection of awards
  3. Writing and preparation for corporate interviews (form CEO and top management).
  4. Preparation of special documents for top management: company key messages, briefs for meetings, country information, fact sheets, etc.
  5. Crisis Management



Institutional Relations: generate awareness and reputation for Minor Hotels at a global level. Close work with the CEO and the committee (interviews, presentations, etc ) Organization and support at corporate events (hotel openings, product presentations, Investors Day )

  2. Corporate Awards
  3. Analysis of opportunities, international coordination with BUs, preparation of applications, monitoring of results
  4. Maintenance of the company's awards database
  5. Speaking Opportunities: proactive and reactive analysis of opportunities and recommendations on Minor Hotels public participations.
  6. Institutional relations: maintaining the relationship with the associations Minor Hotels is a member of and maintain good relations with institutions (Royal House, Ministries, UNWTO, WTTC ).
  7. Organization of corporate or events and support with hotel opening events (when they have an institutional component): Shareholders Meeting, Investor's Day, international hotel openings, FITUR, Investors forums, events for Comercial department etc .
  8. Strategic Planning & Results: responsible for Minor Hotels Europe & Americas global PR HUB office: PR results follow-up and analysis.
  9. Preparation of global reports of coverage by country, KPIs and monitoring
  10. Coordination of reporting with Minor headquarters


EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum 7 years preferably in a PR agency with focus on corporate communication.



QUALIFICATIONS


  • Preferably bachelor's or Diploma in Journalism, Communication or Public Relations.
  • Spanish person with C2 English level, preferably bilingual.
  • A person who knows how to write well, proactive, orderly, with analytical skills and service oriented.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


A position based in Madrid, at MINOR Europe & Americas Regional Office (Santa Engracia, 120).

At the moment, hybrid working model (3 days at office - 2 days at home).
