Corporate Assets Facilities Management Technical Team Lead

Grade I: £41,771 - £46,142 per annum (pay award pending)

Post Number: DR309

Permanent - 37 Hours per week

The Council has a wide range of Corporate Assets which are key to the delivery of the Council's services and the delivery of our wider ambitions to promote Economic Prosperity, Housing Development and support the delivery of high profile regeneration projects in the Town Centre.

The Council is keen to develop new ways of working to maximise the efficiency and performance of our corporate assets to enable the effective delivery of our front line services. As such we are looking for a highly motivated, resilient Facilities Management Technical Team Lead who will play a key role in our small team to shape our delivery of corporate asset facilities and utilities management services across our property portfolio.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Strong expertise in facilities management and people management.
  • Proven experience in managing utilities.
  • Effective negotiation and leadership skills to drive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities to oversee asset data and inform key decisions.
  • A qualification in Facilities Management, Building Compliance, Building Surveying or Asset Management (or working towards). Alternatively, have extensive relevant demonstrable experience and be willing to work towards a qualification within a 2 year period of commencement of the role.
