Corporate Account Manager Who are we?We are PHA, a leading integrated comms agency with offices in London, Manchester, Leeds and Boston. Founded in 2005 by our Chairman and former newspaper editor Phil Hall, we have evolved to offer public relations, creative activations, social media, and digital marketing services to our enviable client roster.
We are now looking for an ambitious, organised people-person at Account Manager level to join us on our growth journey. You can expect to support clients working across the following sectors; B2B healthcare, legal (family, private wealth, land, corporate law & major litigation/class actions), technology and professional services - with opportunities to work on integrated digital, reputation and creative briefs across the wider agency too.

What you will be doing? Client responsibilities- Continue to deliver high-quality coverage for accounts.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients as the trusted day to day account lead (based on size of account), taking ownership of client meets, regular client updates, and reporting.
- Work with the account lead to start demonstrating strong client management with detailed, clear communication, counsel, and strategic recommendations.
- Start to run the day to day management of client accounts, leading juniors across the team with the support of the account lead, including:
- Setting and adhering to agreed timelines.
- Management of weekly and monthly reporting.
- Monitoring and exceeding KPIs.
- Ideation to keep client activity fresh and engaging.
- Support the team on new business opportunities by sourcing prospects, identifying areas of growth, and assisting with proposals.
- Contribute to new business by working with Sales & Marketing, involving proposal preparation, pitch development, and campaign ideas.
- Start to develop commercial awareness of client accounts, identify opportunities to increase account revenue.
- Demonstrate consistent and effective upward management to account leads, sharing successes and flagging issues/challenges at the earliest opportunity, whilst also starting to identify and suggest possible solutions.
- Provide regular feedback to junior colleagues across accounts, working with them to develop core PR and client management skills.
- Start to demonstrate ownership of weekly account activity, delegating tasks to junior members of the team and taking responsibility for proofing their work.
- Maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and other key figures relevant to your sector to provide regular opportunities for your clients.
- Use your knowledge of industries relevant to your clients and research skills to lead planning and campaign strategies, draft in-depth content, and upsell projects.
- Participate in agencywide activities and initiatives to build relationships with colleagues to include All Staff training, social events, and internal seminars relevant to level.
- Regularly attend role-specific training organised through the PHA Academy.
- Involvement in at least one companywide initiative (culture teams, PHA PR, working groups).
