Future Opening: Cook/Taco-Maker/BOH Staff

We are seeking a Cook/Taco-Maker/BOH Staff to join our team! You will be working in a fun and fast-paced environment, making our award-winning tacos and burritos, and helping us maintain our brand and reputation for high quality food, with fresh ingredients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food orders quickly and accurately, following our standard recipes
• Maintain a safe working environment by following proper food safety guidelines
• Complete kitchen tasks, including set-up, food prep, end-of-the-day cleanup and other side work
• Restock and prep items as needed throughout the shift
• Safely operate all kitchen equipment, and perform ongoing cleaning and maintenance
• Perform cost-control, portion control, food rotation and other kitchen operations designed to minimize waste

Requirements:

• Availability to work days, night, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended period of time
• Ability to lift 25-50lbs
• A positive, can-do attitude and a team-player with effective communication skills in the kitchen and with FOH staff
• ServSafe Food Handler certificate (or to be obtained 15 days upon hiring)
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not necessary. We will train the right individual.

Pay rate depends on experience. We offer employee discount and flexible schedule.
